About Us

Our Philosophy

The programs at Heavenly Day provide Christian based developmentally appropriate instruction and activities in a motivating and challenging learning environment where best practices in early childhood education are applied.  Children ages 3-5 share dynamic, multi-sensory and integrated learning experiences daily, while individual instruction is given to ensure each child gains skills and learns at their own pace. Focus on strong communication skills, fosters independence, efficient learning skills and self-confidence.  A positive behavior approach facilitates successful learning opportunities, appropriate social interactions and builds respectful relationships.  We believe that given opportunities at home, in schools and around the community, children  will use their knowledge  and  thinking skills to understand the world.

Our Program Design

The program at Heavenly Day meets the needs of children ages 3 years to 5 years. Many developmental play and learning activities take place in a blended, collaborative environment supplemented with individualized instruction.  The classroom design gives each age group appropriate space and matereials for developmental and academic growth; the curriculum at Heavenly Day accommodates individual learning styles. Blending ages in the classroom provides additional unique learning opportunities for all ages. The younger ones watch, imitate, and learn from older peers, which is built-in modeling and motivation. Intergrating and generalizing skills and concepts can occur more naturally as children engage with multiple ages during different developmental stages. Finally, various language models facilitate communication across ages and settings.
